Funding Application

There are three general steps to the application process. The application below is the first step, meant to show you have an interest.

In Step 2, we schedule a meeting by Zoom or in person at a local coffee shop or your business location. This is a 'get to know you' meeting.

Step 3 is the contract where we agree in writing on what to expect from each other.

For how long have you been in business? Have you made any sales, yet? Or are you just getting started?

Which minority group(s) do you identify with?

Do you work alone? Or do you manage workers?

Do you work from home? Or from an office or shop? In what general area of Yolo County?

What's your computer setup? Desktop, laptop, phone? What kind of each? Do you know what browser you use? How is your internet access?

What marketing have you done so far? Brochures or flyers? Paid Ads? Do you have a website already? What domain name?

For this program to work, you'll need to be willing to develop some new habits. Please check each box to show you understand the commitment.

Take a 1-2 photos of your work, your place of business (if applicable) and/or your people every week. We'll teach you how to take good business photos.

Text, email or upload the photos to us along with a brief description. We'll teach you how.

Get into the habit of asking customers for Google reviews or testimonials.

Be willing to learn the basics of marketing and internet safety.
